DHR Management is a managing general underwriter of specific and aggregate excess loss policies. We are proud to be an underwriter for UNITED STATES FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY*. US Fire has created policies and procedures that insure a high quality product.

The founder, Paul R. Pollock formed DHR MANAGEMENT on May 3, 2010, after deciding that the market had become saturated with carrier owned MGU's, where personal relationships and responsibility are lacking. Paul has owned and/or operated MGU's since the eighties. We believe that the best operating model for a MGU is when the Producer and MGU work as partners, with each other's interest as a foundation for joint success. This is accomplished with dependable service, competitive products and shared responsibility. SERVICE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FUNCTION OF A MANAGING GENERAL UNDERWRITER.

We underwrite groups 15 and above with consideration given for such things as managed care, case experience and industry. We desire a partnership relationship with producers who wish to work closely with our underwriters and Administrative team.

CASE INFORMATION

  • Proposed: Company name, complete addresses and if there are any multiple locations.
  • Renewal Date
  • Industry Type (SIC code, if known)
  • Commissions desired 0-15%
  • Current Stop-Loss carrier; Current PPO; Current contract type; Rates and Factors.
  • Employee Information: Complete census including birth date, gender, coverage, and zip code for each employee.

 

FULLY INSURED GROUPS CURRENTLY

15 - 100 lives with NO EXPERIENCE available from carrier must include a complete copy of current and prior year's renewal package along with census date that includes: Eligible employees, enrollment status, birth date, gender and zip code for each employee.

 

SELF FUNDED AND CURRENTLY FULLY INSURED GROUPS WITH EXPERIENCE

TPA/carrier document claims experience for current and prior two or three years available. Including specific claims, aggregate reports, existing lasers and monthly enrollment.

Complete Census: eligible employees, enrollment status, age/date of birth, gender and zip code for each employee.

Benefit description including complete schedule of benefits (and any plan changes during experience periods).

Specific: Minimum of 15 lives enrolled. Current specific deducible and contract basis. (Any other requested up to three.)

Aggregate (Not available without experience).

Current contract basis and those requested.

Risk corridors available: 130% below 50 lives - 125% 50 lives and above.

Aggregate: accommodation available under 100 lives @ $2.00 per employee per month and 200 lives or more @ $1.50 per employee per month.
